Abby Jacobs

Associate

Background

Abby Jacobs joined Walker Heye, PLLC in 2023. Abby's practice focuses on assisting business clients with their litigation and transactional needs.

Abby earned her undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic State University in Liberal Arts and Engineering Studies in 2018, where she concentrated in Biomedical Engineering and Technical Communications. She then attended Gonzaga University School of Law, graduating in 2021. While in law school, Abby served as the President of the Gonzaga Intellectual Property Law Association for two years.

Prior to joining Walker Heye, Abby worked at an intellectual property law firm, specializing in preparing and prosecuting patents for Fortune 100 technology and biotechnology companies. After moving to the Tri-Cities in 2023 with her fiancé, a local entrepreneur, Abby decided to pursue her passion in assisting small business clients with their transactional and civil ligation needs. This adjustment in practice focus has allowed Abby to increase her involvement with and service to her local community. From her experience in the patent industry, Abby applies her attention for detail and ability to solve complex problems to ensure her clients' needs are met with care and diligence.

In her spare time, Abby enjoys training for Ironman triathlons, golfing with her husband, and attempting to keep up with their energetic black lab, Rigby.
