Background

Jessica Ramirez is a Tri-Cities native, born and raised in Pasco where she grew up in the agriculture industry. She graduated from the University of Portland with a B.A. in Political Science where she was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and earned the Rev. Claude Pomerleau Award of Leadership. After graduation, she earned a law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School. With a desire to raise her family in her hometown, she moved back to the Tri-Cities shortly after graduation. Jessica’s practice at Walker Heye is primarily focused on the needs of the business client both in and out of the courtroom.

While in law school, Jessica earned the Pro Bono Honors Award twice working at a non-profit family law firm, representing low-income clients. After graduation, and prior to joining Walker Heye, Jessica’s career was in civil legal aid. She represented victims of domestic violence and witnessed firsthand the importance of legal counsel in supporting families during crisis. Jessica learned a unique set of skills practicing public interest law that she now utilizes as an attorney at Walker Heye.

Jessica is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Benton Franklin Bar Association. She is also an active board member of the Support, Advocacy and Resource Center.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband, wine tasting and traveling.
