Charley Bowers is a lifelong Washington resident, born in Aberdeen and raised in the Tri-Cities. In 2010 he became a partner with the Kennewick firm Rettig Osborne Forgette, LLP, later Rettig Forgette Iller Bowers, LLP. Effective January 1, 2026, Charley joined Walker Heye, PLLC as a partner when the two firms joined forces.

Charley's practice focuses on real estate (commercial, agricultural, and residential), business law, and estate planning. He guides clients through complex real estate and business transactions, drafts and reviews a wide range of real estate and business documents, and helps clients transition their assets to the next generation. He also forms business entities and serves as registered agent for Washington companies. In addition to his transactional and estate planning work, Charley advocates for clients in the courtroom in probate and civil litigation.

Before law school, Charley worked as a title examiner for a local title insurance company. He graduated magna cum laude from Washington State University in 2002, where he received the College of Business and Economics Outstanding Undergraduate Award in Business Law. He received his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2006, where he also worked as a teaching assistant in the legal research and writing department. When he is not working, Charley can usually be found with his wife and young son at a local park or splashpad. He enjoys getting together with old friends and new, cheering on the Cougars, and watching his son and the family dog chase each other around the yard.
