Background

Justine grew up in Northern California and graduated from the University of California, Davis with a B.A. in Anthropology. After graduation, Justine attended the University of Kansas School of Law on a full-tuition scholarship and graduated in the top 5% of her class. At the University of Kansas, Justine served as a judicial extern for the Honorable James P. O’Hara for the United States District Court, District of Kansas, a Publications Editor for the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy, and a research assistant for J.B. Smith Distinguished Professor of Constitutional Law, Richard E. Levy.

Justine’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including contract, construction, real estate, and landlord tenant disputes. Justine has experience in handling all stages of complex litigation. She regularly represents clients in quiet title actions, residential and commercial evictions, adverse possession matters, construction disputes, and TEDRA litigation. Justine guides clients through business and real estate transactions with a focus on protecting assets from potential creditors. She also assists clients with estate planning and probate litigation. Justine has successfully represented clients in arbitration, at trial, and in front of the Washington State Court of Appeals.

Justine is admitted to practice in the State of Washington, State of Oregon, the United States District Court of Eastern Washington, and the United States District Court of Oregon. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Oregon State Bar Association, and the Benton-Franklin County Bar Association.

Justine moved to the Tri-Cities community with her husband Tom in 2017. In their spare time, Justine and Tom enjoy traveling and visiting local breweries.
