Background

Tom Heye is well known in the Tri-Cities for his work in the areas of elder law, estate planning, trusts, probate, and guardianships.

He has worked with many families in guiding them through the trauma of dealing with parents faced with Alzheimer’s and other problems brought on by aging. He has assisted many families in applying for Medicaid and avoiding the pitfalls involved in the process.

Mr. Heye has prepared thousands of wills, community property agreements, durable powers of attorney, and trusts including revocable and irrevocable living trusts, special needs trusts, and testamentary trusts. He works with clients to ensure that their estates pass to their heirs at the least expense possible and in the most expeditious manner. Mr. Heye handles probates and litigation among heirs on a regular basis, aiming to accelerate the probate process so that heirs do not have to wait years before receiving their inheritances.
